2. martā, Mežezerā uz Odzes ezera norisinājās Pļaviņu novada atklātās sacensības zemledus makšķerēšanā. Bija ieradušies ap 30 dalībnieki no Pļaviņu un apkārtējiem novadiem. Vīriešu konkurencē šogad prasmīgākie bija ciemiņi no Kokneses.
